SYMBOLISM AND METAPHOR IN THE ART OF CINEMA

Abstract

This article explores the importance of symbolism and metaphor in cinematography, examining their use and impact on storytelling, character development, and audience engagement. The results show that these techniques enrich the cinematic experience by creating layers of meaning and enhancing the viewer's engagement with the story. This discussion provides insight into the importance of these techniques and their implications for filmmakers and film enthusiasts.
