FEATURES OF TERMS USED IN FOLK MEDICINE IN THE STRUCTURAL-SEMANTIC ASPECT IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND THE PROBLEMS OF TRANSLATION INTO RUSSIAN LANGUAGE (short review)
Abstract
The terminology used in alternative medicine is extremely diverse and attracts special attention. The stages and factors in the development of the terminology concept have been characterized; the structural and semantic features of medical terms with Greek-Latin term elements and eponymous terms in English, French, and Russian have been studied; possible ways of translating them into Russian have been described.
