PRE-ECLAMPSIA AND PREMATURE BIRTH

Abstract

A clinical analysis of 61 cases of pregnancy and childbirth was carried out: 26 hypertensive patients with clinical signs of preeclampsia and 35 normotensive women. It was found that patients with preeclampia are characterized by the following characteristics: history of preeclampsia (35.7% multiparous, p<0.05), high risk of surgical preterm birth (OR=38.0; 95% CI 13.7–105.7) , a multiple increase in the risk of placental disorders in preeclampsia (OR=16.8; 95% CI 6.0–46.6).
