Abstract

The anthropocentric essence of language is viewed through the prism of a specially allocated interpretive function, which combines all additional functions, in addition to cognitive and communicative ones. The types and structure of linguistic interpretation, its manifestation at the level of cognitive processes and the representation of their results in linguistic units and categories are analyzed.
