TRANSFERRING THE FARS REGION TO UMAR SHEIKH MIRZA AS SUYURGAL
Abstract
The article deals with the appointment of Umarsheikh Mirza as the ruler of the Fars region, his subordination of the Fars region and adjacent territories, and consolidation of power in these regions. The article analyses the issues of management of state affairs, in particular, the organisation by Umar Sheikh Mirza of a reception room for complaints and applications which helped to streamline state affairs. On the basis of historical sources the questions of management, political and socio-economic situation of Fars region during the reign of Umarsheikh Mirza are investigated.
