Abstract

This paper examines the development of economic sectors and the social sphere in Uzbekistan following its independence. It explores the significant transformations in the industrial, agricultural, and service sectors, highlighting the role of modernization, privatization, and foreign investments in diversifying and strengthening the national economy. The study also delves into the reforms in education, healthcare, and social protection, which have been pivotal in improving the quality of life for the population. The interdependence between economic growth and social development is emphasized, demonstrating how advancements in one area foster progress in the other. Furthermore, the paper outlines future objectives for sustaining economic and social growth through technological innovation and increased global integration. This comprehensive overview sheds light on Uzbekistan’s journey towards a resilient and self-sufficient economy while ensuring social welfare and stability.
