THE MOST MODERN DIAGNOSTIC TESTS AND TREATMENTS FOR CAKUT SYNDROME

Abstract
CAKUT syndrome is a combined congenital malformation of the kidneys and urinary tract. Pathology occurs as a result of teratogenic influences, spontaneous genetic mutations, and hereditary diseases. The main manifestations of the disease: agenesis and hypoplasia of the kidneys, doubling of the ureters, vesicoureteral reflux. Diagnostics includes a complex of instrumental visualization methods (ultrasound, urography, CT or MRI) in combination with clinical, biochemical and genetic tests. Therapy of CAKUT syndrome is carried out differentially, taking into account the exact type and number of abnormalities, the degree of violation of urinary function
