INFLUENCE OF BARBERRY COMMON ON THE BLOOD CLOAGING SYSTEM OF PATIENTS WITH VIRAL HEPATITIS B
Abstract
The purpose of the study was to study the effectiveness of a herbal medicine obtained from local raw materials - barberry root and its effect on the parameters of the blood coagulation system in HBV.76 patients (37 males, 39 females) with viral "B" hepatitis at the age of 18 - 68 have been urder observation. Indeces of coagulative system of the blood reflex changes in all phases of haemocoagulation and anticoagulative system. Time of plasma's recalcification, protrombin index, fibrinogen and fibnnolythic activity, free blood geparin, tolerance of plasma to geparin have been studied during investigation. Analysis of obtained data of the condition of coagulative system of the blood demonstrated distinctive changes to hypocoagulation depending on the severity of the disease.The obtained data give the possibity to come to the conclusion that Berberise vulgaris influences favourably on the clinical coarse of the disease, biochemical indeces and coagulative system of the blood.
