Abstract

This abstract provides an overview of abscess and phlegmon in the face and jaw area of children, addressing the clinical presentation, etiology, diagnostic considerations, and management strategies. Abscesses and phlegmons in pediatric patients present unique challenges, necessitating a tailored approach that considers the developing anatomy and potential complications. The abstract explores the key aspects of recognition, diagnosis, and treatment, highlighting the importance of prompt intervention to prevent systemic complications and ensure optimal outcomes in pediatric patients with facial and jaw infections.
