TECHNIQUES FOR MAKING ASPHALT-CONCRETE AND ROAD SURFACES MORE DURABLE
Abstract
The problem of making asphalt concrete pavements more durable in the current high-speed automobile environment is taken into consideration. It is demonstrated how asphalt concrete pavements function across a broad frequency range. Test results for asphalt concrete's fatigue life at various loading frequencies are shown. In order to extend the fatigue life of asphalt concrete pavements, design solutions are suggested.
