COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF ENGLISH AND UZBEK GRAMMAR: SIMILARITIES AND DIFFERENCES

Abstract

This article provides a comparative analysis of the similarities and differences between the grammatical structures of the Uzbek and English languages. It highlights the sentence structure, word classes, tense forms, and commonalities of both languages. Additionally, the differences in word order, possessive suffixes, auxiliary verbs, and morphological features are analyzed in detail. The article serves as an important theoretical basis for the practice of linguistics, translation studies, and teaching foreign languages.
