ANTHROPOCENTRIC LINGUISTICS AND ITS PLACE IN MODERN LINGUISTICS
Abstract
the article analyzes the role and significance of the anthropocentric paradigm in 21st-century linguistics. Language is viewed as an integral part of human cognition, culture, and social life. The anthropocentric approach enables a deeper understanding of the relationship between language and humans, exploring the cognitive, psychological, and cultural contexts of language. The article highlights scientific research conducted in Uzbek linguistics based on this paradigm, as well as the development of modern linguistic fields such as linguoculturology, cognitive linguistics, psycholinguistics, and sociolinguistics. It emphasizes that the anthropocentric paradigm serves as a fundamental theoretical basis for studying the interaction between language and humans.
