Abstract

 this article covers the legal status of State Higher Education Institutions in the Republic of Uzbekistan, their organizational and legal form, management system and financial independence. Also, within the framework of reforms in the field of Higher Education, the legal framework for expanding the autonomy of State Higher Education Institutions is analyzed.
