SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL BASIS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF SMALL TOWNS

Abstract

The aim of this study is to create favorable living conditions and ensure the sustainable development of small towns based on the principles of new innovative development, planned economic, social, and functional urban development, and environmental and social security. Furthermore, according to experts in this field, to ensure the sustainable development of small towns without compromising the interests of future generations in terms of the material and spiritual wealth of the population, it is necessary, first of all, to create an environment with biological and socially favorable parameters for people during the planned improvement of the settlement. This article provides a scientific analysis of the spatial structures of settlements that are connected by transport, engineering, socio-economic, and natural ties as a human habitat.
