HISTORICAL EXPERIENCE IN THE CREATION OF PARKS ON INCONVENIENT AND DISTURBED TERRITORIES

Abstract

The article examines the features of forming artificial and improved natural landscapes on disturbed sites, methods of optimizing the spatial environment of settlements, and approaches to increasing the ecological stability of urbanized landscapes. The historical experience of creating parks on former landfills, quarries, wetlands, and other inconvenient territories is analyzed. Key principles of terrain and waterbody reclamation are identified.
