Abstract
The article examines the key features of numeral usage in modern standard Russian, focusing on their morphological complexity, syntactic behaviour, and evolving stylistic functions. Special attention is paid to agreement patterns, the declension of different groups of numerals, variation in predicate structures, and the changing role of collective and approximate numerals. The study also highlights contemporary communicative trends influenced by digital language practices.
