USING VIRTUAL LANGUAGE LABS FOR TEACHING ENGLISH ONLINE
Abstract
The article examines the role and effectiveness of virtual language laboratories in the context of online English language teaching. With the rapid growth of digital education, virtual language labs have become an essential tool for developing learners’ listening, speaking, pronunciation, and interactive communication skills. The article analyzes how virtual language labs support learner-centered instruction, provide real-time feedback, and enhance learner engagement in online environments. It also discusses the pedagogical advantages of integrating multimedia resources, speech recognition tools, and collaborative activities into English language instruction. The study highlights the impact of virtual language labs on improving language proficiency, learner motivation, and autonomous learning. Overall, the article emphasizes that virtual language labs represent a modern and effective solution for overcoming the limitations of traditional classrooms in online English teaching.
