Abstract

This article examines the scientific basis and practical importance of preventing oncological diseases. Special attention is given to modifiable risk factors, early detection strategies, and the role of public health interventions in reducing cancer incidence and mortality. Preventive measures such as lifestyle modification, vaccination, screening programs, and environmental protection are analyzed.
