Abstract

This article analyzes the role and significance of renewable energy sources, particularly solar and wind energy, in modern society. The ecological, economic, and social advantages of these energy types are examined, along with their share in the global energy system and current development trends. Based on the research findings, the prospects for the wider implementation of renewable energy sources are highlighted.
