COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS IN ENGLISH AND UZBEKISTAN

Abstract

This article provides a comparative analysis of the linguistic, semantic and pragmatic characteristics of phraseological units in English and Uzbek. The national-cultural characteristics, structural forms of phraseological units and problems in the translation process are covered on a scientific basis. The results of the study serve to identify the similarities and differences in phraseology in the two language systems.
