WOMEN'S ROLE IN ISLAM SCIENCE

Abstract

The article analyzes science in Islamic enlightenment as the heritage of prophethood, and in the context of gender equality, women have as much right to the heritage of prophethood as men. The author discusses the ideas in Islamic teaching that women have equal rights to acquire knowledge and become a useful member of Islamic society, a person who benefits the nation, the homeland, the state. In particular, the article describes Islam as a system that essentially saves, elevates, honors women from ignorance and enhances their talents and abilities.
