INNOVATIVE APPROACHES IN TEACHING EPIDEMIOLOGY: INTEGRATING TECHNOLOGY, SIMULATION, AND ACTIVE LEARNING STRATEGIES
Abstract
Background: Epidemiology represents a foundational discipline in medical education, yet traditional lecture-based teaching methods have demonstrated limited effectiveness in developing critical analytical competencies required for public health practice. Emerging pedagogical frameworks emphasize the integration of digital technologies, simulation-based learning, and collaborative problem-solving to enhance student engagement and knowledge retention.
