ABDURAHMON GOʻZAL’S ROLE IN ADVANCING ARTISTIC AND CRITICAL THOUGHT IN UZBEK LITERATURE
Abstract
This study examines the significant role of Abdurahmon Goʻzal in advancing artistic and critical thought in Uzbek literature. It explores his theoretical contributions, methodological innovations, and practical approaches to literary criticism, emphasizing the interplay between form and content, the function of imagery and symbolism, and the ethical and psychological dimensions of literary creation. The research highlights Goʻzal’s efforts to integrate classical Uzbek literary traditions with modern theoretical frameworks while maintaining national cultural specificity. His pedagogical influence and promotion of interpretive plurality have shaped contemporary Uzbek literary studies, fostering critical thinking and analytical skills among scholars and readers.
