SOCIO-PEDAGOGICAL NECESSITY OF IMPROVING THE CONTENT OF MOTHER TONGUE TEACHING IN PRIMARY SCHOOL BASED ON A COMPETENCY-BASED APPROACH

Abstract

 This article analyzes the socio-pedagogical need to improve the content of native language instruction in primary school using a competency-based approach. It discusses the changes occurring in the modern education system, the new social order, and the need to develop students' communicative and speech competencies. It also explores the importance of updating the content of the native language subject at the primary level, its practical focus, and its organization based on interactive methods. The article highlights the pedagogical and psychological foundations of the competency-based approach and demonstrates its role in improving the effectiveness of education.
