PSYCHOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF THE DEMONSTRATION OF EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE IN CHILDREN OF YOUNG SCHOOL AGE

Abstract

This article studies the characteristics of emotional intelligence in primary school children (6-10 years old) and its psychological aspects. The study analyzes how the main components of emotional intelligence - understanding and managing one's own emotions, empathy and social skills - are formed and developed in primary school children. The results show that the family environment, teacher influence and peer communication play an important role in the emotional development of a child.
