Abstract

The flora of the Jizzakh region boasts a diverse collection of medicinal plants that have been utilized for centuries by the local population. Understanding the etymology of these plants is essential for uncovering their rich historical and cultural significance. This article presents a comprehensive compilation of the etymologic dictionary of medicinal plants in the Jizzakh region, shedding light on their origins, properties, and traditional uses.
