IMPACT OF PERSONALIZED COMBINED AEROBIC AND RESISTANCE TRAINING REHABILITATION PROGRAMS ON ADIPOKINE LEVELS (ADIPONECTIN, LEPTIN, RESISTIN) AND INSULIN SENSITIVITY IN PATIENTS WITH METABOLIC SYNDROME

Abstract

Metabolic syndrome represents a constellation of metabolic abnormalities characterized by insulin resistance, central obesity, dyslipidemia, and hypertension. Adipose tissue-derived adipokines play crucial roles in metabolic regulation, with adiponectin, leptin, and resistin serving as key mediators linking adiposity to systemic metabolic dysfunction.
