THE ARTISTIC REPRESENTATION OF NATIONAL MENTALITY AND TRADITIONAL VALUES IN THE WORKS OF ABDULLA QODIRIY

Abstract

 Abdulla Qodiriy is one of the prominent figures of Uzbek literature, whose works deeply reflect the national mentality, customs, and traditional values of the people. In his novels, particularly O‘tkan kunlar and Mehrobdan chayon, social life, family relations, and human virtues are portrayed in a way that expresses national values through artistic representation. This article analyzes the artistic expression of national mentality and traditional values in the works of Abdulla Qodiriy from a literary-critical perspective. The study examines how the characters, their interactions, and the social environment depicted in the novels convey the moral beliefs and values of the Uzbek people. The results show that Qodiriy’s works are not only of artistic value but also serve as an important source for understanding the national mentality and social values of his society.
