SYNTHESIS AND STUDY OF THE PROPERTIES OF ACETOACETANILIDE AND MALONIC ACID DIHYDRAZONE

Abstract

This article examines the synthesis of new hydrazone derivatives based on acetoacetanilide and malonic acid dihydrazone, as well as the study of their physicochemical properties and reactivity. The synthesis was carried out under simple conditions, and the structures of the obtained products were confirmed using spectroscopic methods. The results showed that these compounds can be used as important intermediates in organic synthesis.

The synthesized compounds were isolated as crystalline substances, and their melting points, solubility, and spectral characteristics were investigated. IR spectroscopic analysis confirmed the formation of hydrazone functional groups. The results also demonstrated that the synthesized dihydrazone derivatives possess high thermal stability and show promise for applications in coordination chemistry and the synthesis of biologically active compounds.
