METHODS FOR EVALUATING PLAYER PERFORMANCE EFFICIENCY IN BASKETBALL
Abstract
Evaluating player performance efficiency in basketball has become increasingly sophisticated with the integration of advanced statistics and technology. This study examines traditional and modern methods used to assess basketball players’ effectiveness, focusing on key performance indicators, efficiency metrics, and data-driven approaches applied in elite competitions such as the NBA. The findings highlight that combining quantitative metrics with contextual analysis provides a more comprehensive understanding of player contribution and team success.
