CRITICAL READING AS A BASIS FOR SUCCESSFUL WRITING. TEACHING SPECIFIC SUB SKILLS AND STRATEGIES.

Abstract

 It is true that critical thinking is widely recognized and utilized among the large number of educationalists and learners as a key component of effective writing when it comes to academic and professional context. In this article it is explained about what is critical thinking, how important is critical thinking as a cognitive basis and the role of specific sub skills and strategies in order to achieve successful wiring. Writing with critical thinking means not only just putting ideas on paper, but also it firstly includes understanding the task , analyzing it, building strong arguments , keeping the main meaning of the text, being able to  compare the proponent and opponent ideas, the reason of them. In this article it is described that teachers play crucial role while assisting the students when it comes to enhancing their writing skills taking advantage of various practical ways and strategies, sub-skills, collaborative discussion.  The main goal is to help students move from simple writing communication to more complex, analytical and evaluative  writing . It also discusses the integration of technology such as technological devices, digital tools and virtual  learning for developing and evaluating the writing which helps to promote critical thinking of young generation.
