WRITING SKILLS IN LANGUAGE LEARNING: LINGUISTIC AND PEDAGOGICAL PERSPECTIVES
Abstract
Writing skills are a crucial component of language learning, integrating linguistic knowledge with communicative competence. This study explores both linguistic and pedagogical perspectives on developing writing abilities. Linguistically, mastering grammar, vocabulary, and syntax is essential for producing coherent and accurate texts. Pedagogically, task-based activities, collaborative writing, and revision strategies enhance learners’ writing proficiency and motivation. By combining linguistic rules with effective teaching methods, learners can develop writing as a powerful tool for communication and critical thinking.
