TEACHING METHODOLOGIES FOR ENGLISH LANGUAGE INSTRUCTION IN PRESCHOOL EDUCATION
Abstract
This article explores effective methodologies for teaching English to preschool children, focusing on age-appropriate pedagogical approaches that support language acquisition in early childhood. The study analyzes communicative, play-based, multisensory, and task-based learning strategies, emphasizing their role in developing children’s listening, speaking, and basic vocabulary skills. Special attention is given to the integration of interactive games, songs, storytelling, and visual materials that align with the cognitive and emotional characteristics of young learners. The findings highlight the importance of creating a supportive, engaging, and linguistically rich environment that fosters children’s motivation and enables natural language learning.
