IMPROVING ENGLISH PRONUNCIATION THROUGH MOVIES: AN EFFECTIVE APPROACH FOR LANGUAGE LEARNERS

Abstract
Most language learners have difficulties in mastering English pronunciation due to the complexities of phonetics and phonology. This article studies the potential of using movies as a tool to improve English pronunciation. Drawing on research in linguistics and language acquisition, this paper examines how exposure to authentic spoken English in movies can enhance learners' pronunciation skills. The article also discusses the advantages of using films as a supplementary resource for language instruction and provides practical tips for incorporating movie-based activities into the language learning curriculum.
