VIRTUAL UNIVERSITIES: A DIGITAL ALTERNATIVE TO THE TRADITIONAL EDUCATION PARADIGM

Abstract

This article analyzes virtual university models and their impact on the modern higher education paradigm. In the current era, when digital technologies are radically changing the education system, virtual universities are creating opportunities for high-quality, flexible and global education. The article discusses the formation of virtual universities, their advantages and disadvantages, as well as their differences from traditional education on a scientific and theoretical basis. The article also considers the prospects for introducing virtual university models into the education system of Uzbekistan. The results of the study include practical recommendations for the effective organization of virtual education and its integration into the higher education paradigm.
