THE ROLE OF TECHNOLOGY IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING

Abstract
The rapid growth of technology has altered the profession of English language teaching (ELT), providing novel methods to improve learning experiences. This article investigates the role of technology in ELT, emphasizing its advantages, problems, and future opportunities. Educators can promote higher levels of student engagement, personalized learning, and global communication by incorporating digital resources. However, issues such as digital literacy and accessibility must be addressed in order to achieve fair learning outcomes.
